В монографии описано внутрирегиональное распространение и экология 227 видов печеночников, в том числе 1 из отдела Anthocerotophyta и 226 из Marchantiophyta, известных на Камчатке и прилегающих островах. Проведен таксономический и географический сравнительные анализы на интра- и экстрарегиональном уровнях, выявлены специфические черты, как региональной флоры, так и входящих в состав региона районных флор и дано объяснение обнаруженным особенностям. Сделана попытка отразить многообразие географических, таксономических и генетических связей биоты региона на примере печеночников.

The book describes intraregional distribution and ecology of 227 species of liverworts, including 1 from the division Anthocerotophyta and Marchantiophyta 226, known on the Kamchatka Peninsula and adjacent Islands.
