The novel E. Zamyatin's "We" is on the verge of two eras. He grew up on the fertile soil of the Silver age, absorbing its colourfulness and intelligence, embodying the soul of the hero's idealism and tendency to the world the idea of conversion, dream about the future and vulnerability to the bulk power. Written in 1921, in Russia the novel was first published only in the late 1990s.
